Underwriting/Program Manager
This is without doubt our main specialty. Typically, we work with homogeneous industry groups to establish their own insurance entity, either in the form of a fully fledged insurance company, a captive, or a Risk Retention Group. However we will work with an agency or individual to create a sponsored or pure captive.We can completely "turn key" the entire process or provide our expertise in specific areas, depending upon our client’s wishes. We like to work closely with the particular industry group’s association or similar body to develop a program that fits the needs of the industry group. One size does not fit all! We provide a wide range of services including in-house actuarial work. However we always suggest that clients also obtain independent actuarial work from one of the "major" actuarial firms. Our competitors do not like us, simply because we typically do not charge for our services until the particular program has been completed and is up and running. Our current clients range from Medical Malpractice operations all the way through to "wheel" programs. Current ongoing projects include major high risk property accounts and social services "wheel" programs. |
